What’s on offer?
All workshops are skills based with the aim being that your children will take away some seriously exciting art practices that they can develop independently.
Topics such as: Printmaking, mark making, embossing, storytelling, bookmaking, coil clay sculpture, embroidery, natural art… see upcoming workshops below.
When and how?
Workshops are from 10am -12.30pm for Home Ed Club and private parties/holiday clubs will vary.
Maximum of 10 (paying) students per workshop. Siblings and parents are welcome to come along too and explore.
Students can book a whole 5 week course or individual days.
Each workshop is £10 // or 5 workshops £50
The workshops are designed to be successful as individual days so you can join in on ANY of the weeks or ideally we would have you for the full 5 weeks as we follow a journey.
Minimum of 5 students attending for each workshop to take place.
Where?
All Home Ed Club workshops take place in the education room at St Leonard’s church, Flamstead, St Albans, AL38BS. See the map below.
St Leonard’s has one of the best collections of historic graffiti in the UK plus some beautiful wallpaintings and a children’s Explorer Pack to allow them to discover the building and grounds in their own way.
The atmosphere in the church is inspiring and calming which makes it perfect for creative learning. Members of the public have access to the church but we have the education room exclusively during workshops.
