How does it work?
What do I do?
You buy the materials list ( all affordable, some household items) and set them up on a table. Pop an iPad or computer within reach of your kid so they can pause and go.
Can my kid really do it alone?
This depends on their age and ability but solo learning is the aim of the workshops and we get there by being “ in training” just like in sports.
Repetition is important.
So they may need your help the first time but soon they’ll be flying solo!
What age are the workshops for?
The workshops are aimed at age 4-14 however you know your little ones better than anyone! I speak to your little ones like I’m teaching this age range and the methods we learn are age appropriate.
“There’s something about your workshops that just makes my kids zone in and concentrate… it’s amazing!”
A little sample…
Plus they can share their work here and receive feedback from me. Our Home Ed Art Club group is a safe space to post artwork and be part of a community.

FAQs
-
You will receive an email with the link to the workshop you have purchased and in this will be a comprehensive list of materials, how much and where I would suggest buying them. I’m not affiliated with any stores so these are just my findings and you can absolutely source your own.

You will receive a link on an email so that you can watch endlessly.
I talk to your kids the same way that I speak in face-to-face workshops, I ask the same questions and invite an informal way of working.
Some students may prefer to watch the video first before starting their own work and creating alongside me. Others might just dive right in!
I LOVE to see students work and will always reply with questions or positive feedback.

Yes, pop a wax cloth over your kitchen table if you don’t want marks.
Get your kids in messy clothes.
Make sure they have space on the table between themselves and the screen but so they can reach it to pause.

Because we want your kids to repeat these processes so only having one session worth of stuff would be pointless and relatively pricey for the quantities you would receive/pay for postage on.
Also art gear isn’t expensive, it lasts forever and it’s important that you kid has their own art supplies to grow their creative selves.
