A brilliant workshop where we explore the method of mono printing. Using printing inks, rollers, sheets of acetate and tools to create prints of our drawings.
We learn about Henry Matisse who explored this process in the early 1900’s.
We try negative prints where we create the line by removing the colour as well as positive printing where we trace over the top of an image to push the ink down.
Great to help your little artist develop their dextrous skills and material understanding. This process can then be applied to other projects you are working on.
The session would take roughly 1 hour but is designed to be repeated.
Pause and play so we can create alongside each other.
